Cultural Counsel was engaged by Rachel Comey to develop a media strategy to increase brand awareness. The PR plan leveraged the history and story of the brand and its active role as a cultural and fashion catalyst over the past twenty years, positioning Rachel Comey as a woman with a vision, and a passion for women and clothing with a strong personality.

Cultural Counsel activated its global network of artists, writers, musicians, poets and business leaders to create a campaign that introduced the brand to new communities, expanding its cult status beyond New York.

Cultural Counsel also organized a woman-centered, fifty-person seated dinner and fashion show at La Mercerie, showing pieces from her ready-to-wear Fall 2020 line to an eclectic group of guests from the worlds of fashion, culture, media, art and more.
